Engineering Services Division
The engineering services division of the Ministry of Health was established in 1981. Prior to this, it was known
as the Environmental Health and Engineering Unit under the Health Division and existed since 1968. This division
has become a major provider of engineering and scientific support services to the medical and health programmes
of the Ministry of Health.
In addition, the division also provides technical and engineering support services to the local government
division and the sewerage services department of the ministry of housing and local government, other government
agencies and local authorities.
